Feature=BulkMailFeature permits the transmission of Email messages to multiple recipients from the Site. The method and characteristics of this transmission can be configured via Setting=BulkMail, as follows:

Account
For Method=>SMTP, specifies the Account Name (Userid) at the SMTP Server that will be used to transmit messages. Default is "BulkMail@{domain-name}"
CC-Suffix
The text string that is added to the bottom of each Carbon Copy Email message generated by the Site to the CCEmail address (typically, to replicate a Mail or Notification Message). For messages send to an individual via SMTP, the CCEmail address is added to the Email as a CC entry and, as a result, will be an exact duplicate of the Email message sent to the Recipient (including the Suffix).

Default is:

This message was generated from RidgeStar.com as a Carbon Copy of a message from {User Name}. Questions about this message can be sent to webmaster@ridgestar.com.
Method
Indicates the Method of transport to send Email from the Site to a Mail Server for transmission on the SMTP Network. Possible values are:
  1. PHPMail (transmission via PHP's Mail function). This is the default Setting
  2. SMTP (transmission via direct logon to a specific Account)

Method=>SMTP permits improved performance over Method=>PHPMail, but requires the specification of a Server, Account, and Password. Default is "PHPMail".

Note: Gmail (as of 2/15/2020) requires Method=OAUTH2, which is not currently available via Feature=BulkMail.

Password
Method=>SMTP, establishes the Password for the Account needed to logon at the Server
POP-Port
For Method=>SMTP, establishes the TCP Port used to contact the Mail Server for outgoing transmissions. Default is "110".
POP-Server
Method=>SMTP, provides the address of the Mail Server that services POP requests.
POP-Timeout
For Method=>SMTP, establishes the number of seconds to wait for a Socket connection from the Website host to the POP-Server. Default is "60".
SendMaximum
Specifies the maximum number of recipient candidates in the results listing that will permit Send=On or Send=Off logic. If the number of recipients exceeds this value, all eligible recipients will receive the Message. Default is "250".
SMTP-Port
For Method=>SMTP, establishes the TCP Port used to contact the Mail Server for outgoing transmissions. Default is "587".
SMTP-Security
For Method=>SMTP, establishes the type of security connection utilized when contacting the identified SMTP-Server for outgoing transmissions. Default is Unspecified.
